WHY
"Hammer" Sense?
From humble beginnings in the maker community, our first project was to figure out how to remotely monitor highway overpasses for structural integrity (Metro Vancouver is in a seismically-sensitive region). We learned that civil engineers traditionally used hammers to conduct surveys on structures. So, Hammers + Sensors :)
